Boy, are we relieved that plants do not have the mindset of humans. If I were to predict our first season ever on Wozani farm, because of so many factors my expectations were low. There’s been a lot of thought that, oh well, we’ll just call it done this season. The end. . And yet today I walked the garden being September 14, and in the crate I collected eggplants, onions, tomatoes, carrots, basil, beets, and kale. More than we could have hoped for. 🌱 🌱 🌱 . Be like the plant, know your purpose. Grow with the intention of fruit and production. Do not let your mind, in a fickle position, to rule your outcome.

For engaged couples. I (along with my kiddos) got to work with @coloradoaromatics again last thursday. This time we started with deheading the hops vines from the heads. It came to my attention that this would be an awesome confetti at your wedding!!!!!

I think the Easter eggers missed the memo of where they should be laying. #itsbetterinthestrawpacket

I remember on long road trips in South Africa, there were massive fields of sunflowers... and I marveled at the ability to always follow the sun. They are something special.

No two eggs are alike. The shapes, the tones, the wrinkles, freckles and colors. They are beautiful, and each so so different. I hope you will one day have the blessing of studying, holding, feeling the warmth of a freshly laid egg, and embracing that it’s a precious individual. 🥚

Flowers are my favorite. All kinds! But after growing these lovely autumn beauty sunflowers, I’m in love! 🥰
